Spring collection 2016

The new Spring collection, which brings fresh air into your shoe racks, is available in our eshopu and in the official BOTAS 66 stores in Prague’s Old Town and Žižkov. It consists of 22 new models from the Classic, Run and Urban lines. For this season, we have chosen to freshen up the collection with a touch of crimson, dark blue, mint or powder pink.

But not only the colors are new, but also the materials, including the small constructional adjustments, which make the shoes even more comfortable. The Classic and Run models are also lighter and more flexible than in the previous collections thanks to the material newly used for soles called EVAc. The insoles are also newly innovated, even more orthopedically shaped, with a softer heel and toe from an absorbant antibacterial material.

This year we’re also counting on our favorite model line Run, which was inspired by the global running culture. The shape of this shoe is derived from a specific model of distance running shoes Marathon, produced by Botas in the 80s. Unlike the previous versions of the Run models, which were usually made from a combination of leather and canvas, two new Spring models called Purple Planet and Midnight Cowboy are sewn completely from the soft and supple perforated split suede, which is comfortable as well, but also more durable. The Run models have thus acquired a brand new character. The Midnight Cowboy model is also equipped with reflective elements, which can also be put to use during nighttime walks..
