Spring 2015 Collection

This spring, we have several things to celebrate. Last week we started selling the new collection for 2015. For the first time, it also includes shoes for children. Our shop will celebrate its first birthday. A symbolic six years have passed since the first BOTAS 66 collection. And apart from all this, we can look forward to the summer, when we’ll celebrate the 66th anniversary of the brand. But more about that later. Let’s take it from the beginning and present new products for 2015.

The spring collection counts twelve new models, each with its own name and story. Six of them are from the CLASSIC shape family, which is based on the iconic model from 1966. Two of these, Almost Dry and Insane Remix, are available in unisex sizes 35 – 48, and for the very first time also in kids sizes 31 – 34. Parents can put on the same shoes as their kids (or the other way around?). The black through and through model Tofu Fresh widens the sortiment of the vegan models, which are made especially from synthetic materials. They can be appreciated not only by those who don’t wear leather by principle, but also for those who are on a budget.

Which models do the designers of BOTAS 66 cheer for? Jakub Korouš points out his favorite model, Night Rain“It’s a simple black model with blue details. It’s a proven classic in a new twist with better materials than in the previous seasons.”

The RUN family get four new models. The sneaker shape is inspired by the currently very popular running culture and they are based on marathon shoes made by Botas in the 80s. All of the models combine leather, which holds the shape of the shoe, with textile, which enables the pleasant breathability in hot summer days and nights.

“I am very pleased with the new models from the RUN series. Especially Disco Freak, an all black shoe with a funky outsole, or Street Fighter, which is partially made from a new canvas material and reflex elements. These are bound to be the ones I’ll wear first in the spring,” says BOTAS 66 designer Jan Kloss.

In the URBAN line, two new models were introduced. The tough and durable outsole combined with a street style upper will be liked by those who walk around a lot – up the stairs, or just on the sidewalk, or if they bounce off – on a skateboard or a scooter. Who would have known that this model is based on one intended for handball?

The high-top line MID doesn’t have a new model coming for spring, but we can definitely recommend to wear them with shorts. It looks great!

All models can be bought in the BOTAS 66 store in Prague 3 and online at botas66.com.
