Designblok 2009

In 2009, the new label BOTAS 66 first presents itself at the Prague design week Designblok. Because of its short existence, that is based on the long time history of Botas, the presentation’s concept underwent the main theme “under construction”.

The unified visual style referring to the warning black and yellow color scheme, often used in industrial spaces as a warning sign, hyphenated the whole industrial character of the installation. Its main purpose was not to reveal everything about the product line or the direction of the brand, but to clearly and straightforwardly draw attention to the existence of the brand at all, through a single shoe model.

A new model called BOTAS 66 Construct was made especially for this occasion and became the leitmotif of the whole presentation. The concept and architecture of the installation, designed by the young studio A1 Architects brought the brand, apart from the interest of the visitors, victory in the Editor’s picks of Designblok for the best presentation of a company.
