Collection Spring 2014

The current collection for 2014 consists of a total of 37 different models. The biggest part is based on the iconic shape of the model Classic, put on the market as early as 1966. The Classic model is the one that most contributed to making the term “botasky” so popular, that it is still used to refer to any sports shoes on the domestic market.

In addition to this flagship model, the 2014 collection offers other shape variations: the high top MID, the lifestyle URBAN and the latest RUN, which is made out of a combination of leather and textile. All of these models are directly based on older models of shoes made by Botas in the 60s and 80s for various sports.

Bad Joke, Dust Catcher, Tofu… aka the name gives a clue

Various models from the current collection 2014 have their own names, as well as in all of the previous collections. The names often indicate the appearance of the shoe itself or create its own story along with it, the personality of the model, which seeks to raise the plain product into something more. To illustrate this tactic, let us mention for example Rainbow Maker, Merde Pro, Fjord, Bad Joke or Dust Catcher. An interesting new feature is the “vegan” duo Tofu White and Tofu Black. So far the only completely non-leather shoes produced under the label of BOTAS 66 are made for animal lovers who had nothing to choose from in the past.

All models of the 2014 collection are available in sizes 36 – 48 in the BOTAS 66 store, located in Prague’s Žižkov, near the TV tower at Křížkovského 18, Prague 3. The eshop will be ready in no time.
