European Design Awards 2

BOTAS 66 has received several Czech and international awards during its existence. The first award that drew attention to the brand in the wider context at a time when it was nothing more than only an academic project of two students at the Prague Academy of Arts and Design, was the first place in the category Miscellaneous printed in the prestigious European Design Awards (ED-Awards) in 2008.

Designer Jan Kloss received the award at a ceremony in Stockholm. We would like to thank the jury, and especially graphic designer Filip Blažek, who nominated BOTAS 66 (at that time a school project called botas classic 66) for a “wild card” of the partnership journal typo.cz to represent the Czech Republic.
